Throw A Seafood Themed Party with These Decorations
Create a Beachy Vibe
One of the best ways to create a seafood themed party is to bring the beach indoors. Choose a table cloth that is reminiscent of a sandy beach, and use a light blue fabric for the table runner. To add an even more beachy vibe, top the table with a few seashells. Place some starfish around the room and hang a fishing net from the ceiling to add a nautical touch.
Light Up the Room
For a more festive atmosphere, try string lights. Hang them from the ceiling or along the walls for a sparkly, underwater feel. If you want to be more creative, you can also try making jellyfish out of paper lanterns and spray paint them in bright colors. With this decoration, you can create a magical underwater-like atmosphere.
Make Your Own Fish Mobile
Make your own fish mobile by using paper and string. Cut out a few fish shapes from construction paper, and punch a hole in the top of each one. Tie the fish to a length of string, and hang them from the ceiling or a doorway. You can also hang a few colorful balloons around the room for additional decoration.
Set the Table
Your table setting should reflect the theme. Use blue plates and cups to bring a nautical touch to the table, and top them with colorful napkins. For a fun touch, set out some paper fish to use as place cards. For the centerpiece, try a bowl filled with seashells and a few floating candles for a romantic glow.
Bring the Outdoors In
If you want to bring the outdoors in, try creating a mini aquarium. Use a glass bowl or fish tank and fill it with colorful stones, plants and a few toy fish. Place it in the center of the room, and you'll instantly have an eye-catching decor piece. For an even more creative touch, you can also make a paper fish tank by cutting out the top of an old box and decorating it with paint or stickers.
